The Aultman Foundation Distributes $125,000 in Grants to 19 Nonprofits

The Aultman Foundation has announced 19 area nonprofit organizations will receive the organization’s third round of grant funding totaling $125,000 to help further the Aultman Foundation’s mission with their own services in Stark, Wayne, Holmes, Carroll and Tuscarawas counties.

The Aultman Foundation Seeks Grant Applicants

The Aultman Foundation is accepting grant applications now through March 31 from 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations with projects focusing on health, education and human services.

Special consideration is given to proposed projects and services that focus on the underserved, especially the poor, elderly and children. Proposed projects or services must impact the communities served by Aultman Health Foundation, which includes Stark, Wayne, Holmes, Carroll and Tuscarawas counties.

The Aultman Foundation does not fund individuals, capital or annual campaigns, foundations or endowments. Application cover sheets and checklists (required) are available for download at www.aultmanfoundation.org. Grants are distributed twice yearly.

Aultman Health Foundation announced The Aultman Foundation in May 2007 to improve the health of the community using a two-fold process: targeted grant funding to area non-profit organizations and the acceptance of charitable gifts to the foundation and hospital. Gifts can be designated to help the following areas of the hospital: Cancer Center, Hospice, Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Birth Center, Pediatrics, Heart Center, Dialysis Center, Emergency & Trauma Services or Breast Care Center.
